Mr. John Knapp former Artistic Director of Richmond Triangle Players JOINS IRON CROW THEATRE's BOARD OF DIRECTORS
New Appointment Effective Immediately
BALTIMORE, Maryland - May 19, 2017: Iron Crow Theatre today announced Mr. John Knapp, former Artistic Director of Richmond Triangle Players, has been elected to Iron Crow Theatre’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.
John Knapp is a respected and revered theatre artist and administrator having served for over 16 seasons as the Artistic Director of Richmond Triangle Players (RTP), an award- winning theater dedicated to LGBTQ works. Additionally, Mr. Knapp has served as both President and Vice President to the RTP Board of Directors where he was instrumental in moving the organization to a company-owned permanent 100-seat home. While at Richmond Triangle Players, John helped guide over 100 productions to realization and has himself directed over 30 plays and musicals. He has also performed onstage in Washington, D.C., Richmond, Charlottesville and Minneapolis and has been a featured soloist with the Richmond Men's Chorus and the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington. John has also served on the Board of Directors for the Richmond Choral Society. John is currently the Corporate Director of Clinical Engineering for LifeBridge Health, has worked closely with the FDA and standards organizations, and has presented nationwide on various issues related to medical device safety.
